  • About Our Concept
    Cherry Bomb Café is an Original Franchise Concept Specializing in Liquor Infused Fine Artisan Chocolates, CBD Edibles and Other Unique Adult Delicacies and is Designed to become a 24-Hour Diner Style Eatery with a Dessert Bar & Hemp Lounge. Our intention is to develop this concept to become a highly franchisable brand with full delivery and event catering menus. We’ll start by launching our online store with limited product offerings before moving on to the opening and scaling to our 1st physical storefront in the Austin, Texas area. We’ve coined the slogan “Not Your Granny’s Crotchety Old Confections“ because we want to exude an ADULT image - Make no mistake, there'll be NO helicopter moms here. The point is, we’re not afraid to risk a little edginess in todays overly apologetic culture. This ain’t Burger King - we do it the awesome way and we guarantee you’ll love it! Also, in light of the current legalization revolution, we've created a whole new sister brand to quickly jump into the "edibles" arena.   • About Us - THE CREATORS
    Greetings, My name is Clyde DuBose and that’s my wife Michelle with me in the picture. Thanks for taking the time to look at our website. Together, we’ve been in the restaurant business a combined total of almost 50 years! When I was a boy, my grandmother would let me stand in the kitchen watching her cook for hours. That’s how I developed an affinity for the culinary arts and ended up in the restaurant and food delivery businesses most of my adult working life. As an artist & entrepreneur, if I hadn’t learned to create something original during that amount of time then I truly wasn’t paying attention. Why Cordialed Cherries? My grandfather always loved those store bought boxed cordial cherries around the holidays every year ... I did not. I always thought that gooey sticky syrup inside of those things was flavorless and disgusting (I still do, btw). One day, I came across a simple cordial cherry recipe that got me thinking that I could do better. After that, it was only a natural progression for me to become a chocolatier. After all, chocolate IS an art within the culinary world. For years I’ve given my cordials as gifts and everyone kept telling me that I should sell them. So I went on as a self trained chocolatier giving my “Cordial Creations” that extra bang with liquor! Grandpa, I wish you could taste them now! The odd thing is that I didn’t even like chocolate much when I was a kid but I eventually grew to love it. In fact, now I’m practically addicted to it. I guess it’s an acquired taste. I originally started calling my venture “Cordial Creations” and gave away lots of free samples at festivals and trade shows. I’ve converted many cherry skeptics (psst! we also make chocolate covered strawberries with a cheesecake ganache!). Therefore, even if you’re not a fan of cherries, you probably know somebody who DOES love them and they make a perfect gift! One day, I was thinking about the name and branding of “Cordial Creations” and I soon realized that it needed a revamp. Something that would stand out more. Soon after that I had a couple of guys (Sweet Leaf & ACL) tell me that I should call it “My Cherry Balls!”. I think the universe was speaking to me that day and, finding humor in the vulgarity, I moved along to think-tank mode where I came up with something that I think most people will be a little more receptive to. And that’s how the concept started for Cherry Bomb Café
  • ABOUT OUR CREATIONS
    Since then, I’ve met & married the love of my life and together, we’ve graduated into many other artistic creations with chocolate, fruit bouquets, pastries, juices, smoothies, coffees, soups, sandwiches, and other unique gift ideas. After years of experimentation we believe we’ve finally gotten our processes and our recipes of a superior quality to share with the rest of the world. ​ My wife is also a highly creative & experienced baker and she has an extensive background in the operational side of the restaurant business such as catering and customer service. Aside from years of practicing phenomenal customer service skills, she’s a perpetual superstar who always very quickly rises to the top. Mainly because she’s beautifully brilliant, has a winning smile, a great personality. And I’m not simply being biased either because people under her management are always ready & willing to go that extra mile for her. They just love her where ever she goes. *Hits me in the feels :’) Please go browse our showcase selections to see all we’ll soon have to offer. It is our strong held belief that presentaion is very important but, just as important when it comes to all edible creations, is flavor. It MUST taste just as awesome as it looks and that’s the very reason we use alcohol in our recipes. Alcohol gives sweets an extra punch that you just can’t get with anything else. Don’t worry, you can’t get inebriated even if you eat the whole box. It’s just strictly for flavoring. We hope you’ll love these highly original creations as much as we do :) CAUTION: Cherry Bombs may taste even more awesome than they appear.
